Here we go again with a new fractal for everybody.

Hope You Enjoy!!!

Jellyswirl

One of my all time favorite pieces. I love the starfish look it has to it as well as just the clean look of the picture as a whole.

Well I’ll be posting again soon.

YAY, It’s finally Friday!!! Time for a new fractal for my audience.

I call it angel simply because that is what I saw while making it, I also see a seashell across the top of the image and somebody once told me it looks like light shining off of a rock.

Enjoy, and as usual you can view the fullsize image here and the rest of my gallery.

See Ya Next Time

First Fractal Friday

Well, this is the first of what will hopefully become a regular Friday post in which I will post a piece of art I created.

Most of the time I will be posting fractal art.

Definition of a fractal: In colloquial usage, a fractal is “a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be subdivided in parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole”.

That’s just a basic definition of a fractal, but if you search wikipedia you can find a good number of great examples of just what fractal art looks like.

All the fractals I make are made using a program called Apophysis, which is a piece of software made just for the creation of fractals. (There are other fractal creating programs out there but I don’t use any of them…..yet)

Whisper
I decided to call this particular piece whisper…..I can’t exactly remember why, but I think it had to do with something I saw in a movie once.
You can find the full size version here in my DeviantArt gallery.

Hope you enjoy
